i just bought a 101.025 too! loved my 192.029 so much i realised i must have a second Lange 1 if the first ever ends up in the shop for too long lol. lange is where it’s at, the quibbles are minor.

Great to hear! The stealth is such a great watch, isn’t it. I think the non lumed hands on the silver dial just looks so great.

What’s your other Lange 1? I have a 101.030- white gold, grey dial- also a great watch but wish the hands were non lumed too.

the other one is the current white-gold moonphase 192.029, which does have lumed hands over a black dial. but i love both. stelly and moonie, as my wife calls them now 🙂

Awesome. The starry day/night indicator on the moon phase is probably my favourite moonphase in the business! Only one that comes close to me is some of Naoya Hida’s!

the day-night indicator is such a wonderfully subtle complication. makes the dial dynamic, changing over the course of the day, like your own state of mind, makes you bond with the watch more when you wear it.

i see the lange 1 and lange 1 moonphase the way i see the sub and the gmt. the same perfect feel on the wrist (for their respective genres), but different enough that you gotta have both.

The impression I get is that they are trying to maximum their profit by putting the squeeze on their customers, customer satisfaction be damned

Someone did send me a comment saying that actually they’re quite well priced compared to Patek. Eg. The Saxonia is cheaper than Calatrava, 1815 chrono cheaper than 5172 etc. so maybe they think they’re undervalued- but as collectors we can see the huge price rises.

Your critic on the VC fiftysix is not precise. The only one non-Geneva Seal is the three hander.
